Okay, I’m goin
to update my xanga, YAY!
Well, basically life is awesome right now it
couldn’t be much better! I’m so
thankful that…
*I have amazing friends- Kristen, Sami, Annie, Katy &
Jessica u guys are awesome, we’ve shared so many great memories together and
it’s just the beginning for us, I luv u all!
*I have the best family anyone could ask for- I love
my parents so much and I’m truly blessed to have them both + I miss my brothers
& Debra who are @ college (then again it is nice having the house to myself,
lol)
*My awesome b/f Robert- it’s been officially 2
months for us as of yesterday… all I can say is that I haven’t been happier ever
since I met u Robert & that I love u SO MUCH!
*Track started last week and I’m so pumped for this
year’s season, I know it’s goin to be awesome and Harris is an awesome coach!
(I’m just really worried for my back, so pray that it doesn’t get injured this
year)
*I’m excited for spring break!!! I’m goin on the Missions trip
down by New
Orleans to help the hurricane relief. (Kristen, Katy, & Jessica are
goin 2!) God has helped us make this trip possible in
so many ways and I know His plan is greater than any of us can image
and I just
pray that He uses us for His will!
*And last, I’m SO excited for being next years
SENIOR CLASS TREASURER!!!

| The Lords Test
I woke up this morning
and knew that today,
The sun would not be shining
and the clouds would be gray.
As I stepped outside,
rain fell upon my head.
My car wouldn't start
so I walked to school instead.
I forgot all of my assignments
I failed all of my test.
I dropped my head in disgust
And asked the Lord for one
request.
"Lord, why is it that
things won't go my way?'
He gently replied,
"Dear Child it is because
you didn't thank me yesterday.
I woke you up and enabled
you to see the sun again.
I gave you
shelter,
protected your family, and even let
you make a new friend.
I blessed you far
greater than I ever had before.
But you were too busy
to thank me once more.
You didn't feel sick
because I maintained your health.
You had money in your pocket
because I maintained your wealth.
You had shoes on you feet
and clothes to wear, too.
You had plenty of food to eat,
and what did you do?
You ignored me and went
about your task.
But when you wanted something
you never hesitated to ask.
I was there when you needed me
and that wasn't too long ago.
But when things started
going your way.
It was me you did not know.
As if that weren't enough,
I provided your favorite luxuries.
This was something I didn't have
to do - they weren't even necessities.
And when it was time to get on your
knees and show your gratitude.
You decided that after such a
fulfilling day, you weren't in the mood.
So l decided to
give you Just a little test,
To show you how it would feel
to stop being blessed."
l began to realize what
the Lord was saying.
And when l got home, l fell
to my knees and started praying,
He said, my child, you have
learned and you know l do forgive.
But remember to remember this day
as long as you shall
live.
I love filling your life with joy,
And your pain I'll alleviate,
But just a simple thank you,
would show how much you appreciate.
^^^I thought that was so true, at least 4 me I know. God is SO AMAZING and he's truly BLESSED me and yet I often 4get to thank Him first & put Him above everything else. Well, keep that in mind and have a GREAT week everyone !!! xoxo ~Joanne~
